Louise & Christian Had the Dream Wedding in Denmark

Bride Louise and groom Christian tied the knot in a quaint, 13th-century church located on a stunning cliff, with an expansive view of the sea for miles all around them. The church they selected provides a service which allows for a civil ceremony in their religious setting, which is a rare and unique availability when it comes to a wedding… So the pair felt very lucky indeed to find that opportunity.

With the building’s rustic, stone exterior and vibrant gardens as their backdrop, the special couple let the natural scenery of Denmark act as their décor; the beautiful greenery and historical landmark being all that they needed to begin their special journey together. After arriving in a horse-drawn carriage, the bride and groom ensured that the level of class and sophistication presented right from the start of the ceremony would remain visible throughout.

All enjoying the bright blue sky and the warm Danish sun, Louise and Christian’s special guests were able to bask in the old-timey glamour of their wedding day just as much as the couple! With around two hundred close friends and family attending their reception and eighty continuing onto the meal, the bride and groom wanted a wedding party big enough to be able to mingle with their favourite people all day and night, whilst also managing to get around to everyone before the big day was finished.

Bride Louise went with a simple yet elegant look – a silk slip dress of which was the perfect mix between fitted and flowy. She knew she wanted to find a dress that she loved and felt beautiful in, but her main priority was being able to have fun in her outfit… Which she definitely did! Groom Christian went with a grey-blue suit with a blue and white striped shirt to match, looking as timeless and dapper as the sophistication of the church surrounding him. Together, the pair looked fit for a gorgeous celebration, and harmonised wonderfully with their selected decorations and the blooming nature of Denmark’s countryside.

Overall, the personal, heart-felt ceremony was appreciated equally by everyone involved, as the love and respect floating through the church was undeniable. Bride, groom and guests were all able to celebrate without a care in the world, enjoying the sunny heat and feeling grateful to be able to spend that time together as a newly united group.
