Croatia Real Wedding - An Emotional Embarkment

A Magical Backdrop

The natural Croatian foliage acted as the backdrop for Katharina and Andreas’ magical wedding. With the deep greens of the towering trees and the flourishing leaves skirting up the villa’s rustic walls providing pops of colour on their special day, the pristine white of the venue’s reception hall seemed to glow even brighter in comparison. Decorated in endless string lights, hanging bouquets and golden detailing, their ceremony décor held an air of elegance and class that enhanced the pre-existing beauty of the villa.

Getting Ready Moments

Bride Katharina and groom Andreas had always dreamed about a big ceremony surrounded by their loved ones, and so they decided on a destination wedding in Andreas’s home country of Croatia. Their wedding day began with the bride getting her hair and makeup done with her girlfriends, the calm pampering was a memorable moment for everyone involved! “The first little tears of joy were shed when my bridesmaids saw me for the first time in my dress,” gushes the bride. In the meantime, the groom enjoyed a very traditional Croatian breakfast with all his groomsmen and relatives, and live traditional Croatian music played to help everyone get into the wedding spirit.

Mountain Views

The bride and groom married in the church of Grožnjan, a beautiful medieval village on the top of a mountain, which set the scene for their fairytale wedding day. Emotions were high for the bride, groom and guests alike - everyone equally excited and charmed by the tender show of love presented before them. For their reception, they wanted to create the feeling of being outside beneath the stars. So, they incorporated a glass tent over their reception tables, which merged perfectly into the natural landscape and was decorated with hundreds of fairy lights to create a magical starry sky.

Special Memories

The whole wedding day was very heartfelt and personal for the couple and their loved ones - not only the tear-jerking first dance between bride and groom but also many heartwarming speeches filled with joy and happiness from friends and family members. Guests could truly feel the love that Katharina and Andreas share not only with each other but with every single person joining them at their wedding. “Everything turned out exactly as we wanted it to. What a beautiful way to start our life journey side by side."
