Start your day at Infinity restaurant with a breakfast buffet paired with stunning sea views. For a romantic evening with your loved one, Thimari offers an authentic Grecian à la carte menu in a lovely outdoor setting. The gentle sea breeze intertwines with the melodies from live musicians, creating a memorable atmosphere for couples. To add a touch of variety, don’t miss out on Ambrosia, the charming Italian restaurant known for its pizzas, pasta, and vibrant salads. We were sat alongside the terrace filled with traditional Greek dancers for a joyous occasion. We ended our evening at Ananas pool bar for picture-perfect cocktails under a star-studded sky.

The hotel also has a private beach where you can enjoy snorkelling or a peaceful afternoon on a complimentary sunbed; the secluded cove is easily accessible via the shuttle service. After soaking in the local culture, we took a well-deserved break at Ta Mpakaliarakia tou Pirati, also known as ‘The Pirate Cods.’ We indulged in traditional Greek delicacies, enjoying fresh fish, Greek salads, and creamy tzatziki to complement every dish. The battered zucchini is a must-try!

Next on our island-hopping adventure was a one-hour flight to Crete, the largest of the Greek islands. With views of the distant mountains and olive trees, this relaxed à la carte eatery features delicious dishes prepared using the freshest vegetables from the hotel’s Wellness Olive Garden. A must-visit restaurant within the resort is Kafenion, which provides an authentic experience paired with Cretan-Mediterranean tapas. This sharing dining style encourages togetherness, and no night is complete without raki shots, uplifting Lyra music, and Cretan folklore brightening up the room. Each restaurant at the resort truly captures the vibrant culture for a taste of Crete. 

The resort offers a wide range of activities, ensuring there is something for everyone. The two private beaches and two outdoor pools make it hard to choose where to spend your day. One of the highlights is the stunning SIP n’ DIP Pool Bar that features floating beds to dip your toes in while lounging. To top it all off, the bar lies within arm’s reach so you can swim up to order your cocktail. I must say, this was my favourite spot to relax and bask in the sun. 

An amazing selection of sailing trips and water sports is available from the resort, allowing guests to explore the beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed a boat trip to the historical island of Spinalonga to see the Venetian fortress. On our way back, we anchored in a spot where the crystal-clear sea invited us to dive in. It truly felt like a perfect day under the sun. 

Ideal for honeymooners or engaged couples, Spilia is the hotel’s natural cave transformed into a wine cellar that hosts tastings and private dining. Upon request, you can enjoy a special wine-tasting session featuring Greek varieties and meze boards to form intimate memories together.
