In the heart of the Tuscan countryside, amidst rolling hills and sun-kissed vineyards, Ariella and Matt’s love story reached its most enchanting chapter at the historic Villa Corsini. The Villa – an exquisite testament to Italy’s rich history and timeless elegance – provided the perfect backdrop for a wedding that exuded the essence of romance in every detail. “The venue, Villa Corsini a Mezzomonte, had everything we were looking for” said the newlyweds “Naturally beautiful inside and out, a short drive from Florence’s city centre, and steeped in rich history. Meeting our in-house wedding planner, Carlotta from Corsini. Events Group, made the decision even easier as we could immediately tell she’d do an incredible job.”
On the day of their union, the air was alive with the fragrance of blooming forego flowers and the soft melodies of classical music, creating an atmosphere of refined opulence and old-world charm. As guests arrived at the villa, they were greeted by the sight of lush gardens adorned with delicate floral arrangements, each bloom a testament to the natural beauty that surrounded them.
Ariella, resplendent in a gown that seemed to mirror the grace of the Tuscan landscape, made her entrance through the villa’s ancient courtyard. As she walked towards Matt, her eyes alight with emotion, the sun cast a warm glow upon her, accentuating her radiant beauty and the palpable joy that filled her heart. “I tried on a bunch of dresses that were still not right before trying on a final choice that my mom picked out. I walked out of the dressing room and the music switched from the heavy metal rock music that was playing to Kelly Clarkson’s ‘A Moment Like This’ and my mom, aunt and I all burst into tears! We knew we found the one.”
The ceremony took place in the villa’s picturesque garden where the soft rustle of olive trees and the gentle hum of nature provided a serene backdrop to the heartfelt promises they made to each other. The couple’s wedding reception unfolded in a manner that was elegantly understated, allowing the timeless beauty of the venue to take centre stage. As guests entered the villa’s dining gallery, they were met with a vision of refined simplicity. Instead of elaborate flower arrangements, the dining tables were adorned solely with the soft glow of candlelight, casting a warm and intimate ambiance throughout the room. “We let the elegance of the venue speak for itself- no logos or over decorating. We opted to forego flowers in most places and instead chose to line the dining tables and hallways with thousands of candles.” This allowed the frescoed ceilings and the villa’s architectural grandeur to shine.
