HIDDEN GEMS
This couple’s wedding journey began on a special milestone, as Romeana sat with her newborn son Brodie on Mother’s Day, Sam appeared with a parcel. “It was a huge present that was beautifully wrapped and I ripped it open to reveal a hand-painted picture of my favourite vintage jewellery shop in Llandudno,” she remarked, “but painted in the spot where I would usually point out my favourite designs to Sam was our eldest son, Bennie, and ‘Will You Marry Me?’ was painted in place of the sign above the window!”.

MEANT TO BE
With COVID affecting a lot of their original plans, a chance encounter unveiled their new venue… “We were at Bingo Loco at The Chocolate Factory and Sam suggested we could get married here. I rolled my eyes but before I knew it he had emailed and booked a viewing and it turned out to be very ‘us’.”

DRESS DILEMMAS
Our bride struggled to find the dress of her dreams until she met the perfect supplier and new friend. “I hated the process of finding a dress! I can’t even decide what to wear to the pub, let alone my wedding day,” she laughed, “but after a few bad boutique visits, I went to a lovely wedding shop called ‘In the Name of Love’ and Abby was so paitent with me!”. Romeana settled on the stunning Brie dress by Karen Willis Holmes, a simple and elegant design that fit like a glove. The bride struck up such a friendship with Abby that she invited her to the wedding, finding her dream dress and a new friend in the process.
TRUE TO YOURSELF
“We found it a daunting decision picking a non- traditional venue that might be judged by others but my best advice is to stick to your guns as so many people commented how amazing the space was. I mean, is it even worth getting married if you don’t have a beer pong table and karaoke booth disguised as a bathroom?”, she jested.

POPS OF PURPLE
The couple had originally planned a forest green theme but a fashion faux pas led them down a different route.
“Sam left his outfit purchase too late and could only find jackets in lilac in everyone’s size so three weeks before the wedding we had to change the entire colour scheme,” they reminisced, “luckily our amazing stylist, Tara, was great and could change everything at the drop of a hat. My friend even found me some lilac shoes on sale in Zara!”.
STARS IN THEIR EYES
Sam & Romeana opted for Saint Raymond’s ‘Fall at Your Feet’ for their first dance as it was one of the first bands they saw together.
“One of our guests was really good friends with him too and called him during the first dance and he even chatted with Sam on the phone!”
