Jennifer Jane’s fine art approach to photography captures romance and ethereal elegance as in this beautiful shoot set at Parish’s House. With a keen eye for detail in capturing heartfelt moments, she transforms ordinary scenes into works of art. This editorial is the perfect example of how weddings can become an artistic expression helping couples dream and envision what their special day could look like. In this case, there’s a lot of inspiration drawn from Pantone’s colour of the year, Peach Fuzz, as well as other stunning details, such as a Bridgertonesque feel with tablescapes overflowing with florals and gold accent, and a modern idea with the pretty drinks setup.
Weddings at Parish’s House are an absolute dream. The Regency building with its meticulously landscaped gardens and breathtaking water features is like stepping into a Jane Austen romance novel. This fairytale venue provides the ultimate backdrop for wedding days whether couples wish to celebrate in the house or enveloped by the blissful grounds.
For the wedding breakfast, a charming orchard of trees served as the perfect setting. Vases of flowers hung gracefully from the branches, creating a whimsical and natural atmosphere. The table itself was a work of art, adorned with a runner of flowers atop metal stands, with smaller floral displays scattered throughout. The table settings were nothing short of regal. Pink and gold-edged scalloped plates, peach serviettes, and gold cutlery adorned the dining tables. Gold-edged glassware and candles in elegant gold candlesticks added a touch of opulence to every place setting. A freestanding cocktail drinks bar was available, ensuring that guests could toast to the happy couple in style.
The beautiful bride graced the scene in a gown that could only be described as a dream come true. She wore a beautiful white gown by Millia London, a boned corseted dress with an open back and ruffles on the shoulders with a skirt that had a cascade of layered tulle ruffles. The dress was a masterpiece, exuding the timeless elegance of a regency-era bride while maintaining a modern edge. With its flowing layers, the gown perfectly captured the ethereal essence of a midsummer’s dream, whilst still retaining the glamorous feel of the Regency era. The bride’s make-up created by the talented Leanna Biggs was intentionally subtle and natural, and took a modern twist with a hint of copper eyeshadow, lending a contemporary allure. Beside the radiant bride stood a groom clad in a classic black tuxedo. The choice of a black tuxedo was a nod to the wedding’s elegant and luxurious theme, perfectly complementing the bride’s ethereal look. This couple exuded sophistication and style.
This Midsummer’s Dream-inspired wedding shoot at Parish’s House was a true fairytale come to life. With its blend of ethereal qualities, peachy colours, and Regency-era elegance, it embodied the timeless charm of Shakespeare’s masterpiece while infusing it with a contemporary, luxurious twist. It was a day when dreams and reality melded into one, creating memories to last a lifetime.
