In a dazzling prelude to the grandeur of our upcoming Awards Event, Weddings & Honeymoons Media hosted an exclusive press launch last Thursday (05.09.24) attended by esteemed guests from the media, PR, entertainment and wedding industry. The evening unfolded at The Adria Hotel in the heart of South Kensington, London, offering an enchanting preview of the magic that’s to come at the second edition of the United Kingdom Weddings and Honeymoons Awards (UKWHA’25) on February 13, 2025, set at The Dorchester in Mayfair, London.
As the evening unfolded in full swing, guests revelled in a night of pure indulgence, savouring gourmet cuisine, artisanal cocktails and top-tier entertainment. It was a Great Gatsby affair, decedent and debaucherous and truly unforgettable for all who attended.
During the event, our Commercial Director Tony Baines announced the WIN YOUR WEDDING COMPETITION, a £50,000 prize offered to one lucky couple with the most captivating love story. Winners of the competition will be announced at the upcoming gala, which will honour the trailblazers of matrimony, celebrating their innovation and dedication in shaping the wedding landscape.
To set the precedent for the main event and the thrilling entertainment that awaits, we were graced by a remarkable line-up of talent. Singing sensation Chelsea Nolan (@chelseanolanweddingsinger www.chelseanolanweddingsinger.com) gave a hauntingly beautiful performance, while DJ Cream Boomtown (@cream_official2020) set the dance floor ablaze with his masterful set, which featured Boney M’s very own Sharron Day. Chico Slimani (@chicoslimani www.itschicotime.com) injected us with electrifying energy, leaving everyone buzzing with excitement. Archie XN Trick (@archie_xntrick) mesmerised us with his virtuosic flute playing, whilst Agnes Jones (@agnesjonesofficial)charmed us with her delightful performance of “Kitty”. Additionally, John Johnny’s dance moves and the soulful voice of Rochie AKA Vlinton Outten added an extra layer of excitement and entertainment to the already spectacular evening.
