Tell us about Loveness Lee? 

Independent jewellery brand Loveness Lee was established in 2016 and creates handcrafted designs inspired by Loveness’ fascination with abstract shapes and textures found within nature. Creating serendipitous designs made with locally sourced materials, Loveness works to protect the medium which inspires her by using recycled materials such as recycled solid gold, recycled sterling silver, lab-grown gemstones and diamonds, small batch making and eco-friendly packaging. Loveness Lee designs are loved across the world with stars such as Kylie Minogue, Joy Crookes, Priyanka Chopra, Nicola Caughlan, Daisy Ridley and Rina Sawayama all adorning her designs in their jewellery boxes. How does your brand differ from others? 

While there are many jewellery brands inspired by nature, our designs are more focused on the abstract textures and shapes within nature.  For example, the band of our Bello Diamond Engagement Ring is designed with intricate textures cast from wild mushrooms – giving the diamond a powerful frame that is just as intriguing as the sparkle it encases.  We also hand-make everything from start to finish in our OXO Tower store in London using traditional jewellery making techniques with sustainably conscious materials such as recycled metals and lab-grown diamonds and gemstones i.e our methods of working to protect the medium which inspires us.

What inspired you to launch a bridal collection? 

We had received so many bespoke orders for engagement rings over the years which began to grow quite increasingly over the last two. The request we often get is that they are looking for engagement rings that are a bit more alternative, unusual, and unique – not the traditional diamonds on a polished band engagement ring design. That is exactly what we are good at.

The unique textures give the traditional engagement rings a twist, making it stand out. The demand gave me the confidence that it was something our customers wanted from us, and it was always something I wanted to bring to Loveness Lee.

What’s next in line for Loveness Lee? 

With high demand for statement jewellery coming back to the forefront, we are launching a new collection using lab-grown white sapphires which will be fused with an exciting collection of textures I found whilst travelling last summer.
