Tita & Tyler celebrated their love with a romantic celebration with the natural splendour of Switzerland as their backdrop…
Tyler popped the question with a surprise trip abroad. Tita thought they were off on a ski trip in the country but actually, Tyler had planned something out of this world for them to experience in Switzerland. From spa moments to paragliding, their time in the mountains was one for the books. “We had a gorgeous experience flying over the Matterhorn and then the helicopter landed on top of the mountain. Little did I know, a photographer was there hiding in the distance. Tyler brings me to a lookout point overlooking the Matterhorn and gets down on one knee and proposes! We had lunch there at the top of the mountain – it was spectacular!”
Lake Lucerne, with its breathtaking views, serene lake and charming cityscape created the picturesque backdrop for their celebration, adding a touch of natural beauty and urban elegance to their special day. And, to win them over, the interior design of Chateau Gütsch did the trick. The preservation of its historic charm combined with modern elements, such as the exquisite wallpapers, created a unique and enchanting atmosphere that perfectly suited the romantic ambience we envisioned for our wedding.
Our bride shared that she got ready surrounded by her bridesmaids and her mother with a beautifully arranged setup with caviar and champagne so they could truly relax and enjoy the moment. “Those moments spent with my closest friends and family before walking down the aisle were filled with excitement, joy, and a touch of nostalgia. It was a time of bonding, laughter, and shared anticipation as we prepared to embark on this new chapter of my life.”
Despite having several appointments lined up, Tita found her dream dress at her first stop, Lee Petra Grebenau’s flagship store in the West Village. “Wearing my custom wedding dress was an incredible experience. It fit me perfectly and was specifically made for me. The attention to detail and craftsmanship ensured the dress hugged my curves in all the right places, creating a silhouette that made me feel confident and beautiful. Beyond the physical comfort, wearing my custom dress also brought a sense of emotional fulfilment,” gushed the bride.
When asked which was her favourite moment, the bride replied: “Ever since returning to the office after the pandemic, my husband has written me a little note. Before I walked down the aisle, my photographer and dear friend Jenna, presented me with an envelope from Tyler. Inside was my very own note for our wedding day, along with hundreds of notes he had written over the past years.”
