Rich & Jessica Sealed their eternal bond amidst Hawaii’s azure shores…
Under the watchful gaze of the majestic Koolau Mountains, in the heart of Hawaii, Jessica and Rich’s wedding unfolded amidst a tropical paradise.
Nestled within the enchanting Molii Gardens, the couple’s long-cherished desire for an outdoor celebration amongst the natural splendour of their homeland became a reality. “Growing up in Hawaii, I’ve always wanted an outdoor wedding” gushed the bride “and Molii Gardens was the perfect location.” The venue offered a picturesque duality, with the tranquillity of the fish pond providing the perfect setting for their heartfelt ceremony, while the upper part of the gardens became a haven for their joyous reception.
As the gentle breeze whispered secrets of tropical serenity through the air, 200 of their dearest friends and family gathered to witness the union of two souls. Jessica graced the occasion in a stunning gown from the intimate Casa Blanca bridal boutique, exuding an ethereal allure that seemed plucked from the sweetest of dreams. With the sunkissed glow of Hawaii’s golden rays dancing upon her skin, she embodied the essence of a modern day island princess, her beauty mirroring the lush Hawaiian landscape. “When it was time for me to put on my wedding dress and jewellery, my mom gifted me a necklace and a heart pendant which belonged to my grandmother. Knowing I wore an heirloom with sentimental value, on my wedding day, I knew my grandmother was there spiritually.”
Meanwhile, Rich, seeking to honour his Filipino heritage with a modern twist, donned a Barong Tagalog, a traditional garment crafted from the sheer and delicate Pina fiber that harmonised effortlessly with Hawaii’s balmy climate. The wedding exuded an opulent ambience with a rich palette of maroon and gold, a testament to the couple’s understated sophistication. The air was filled with an abundance of resplendent blooms, infusing the entire event with an atmosphere of timeless elegance and natural beauty. “I personally wanted roses, orchids, and anthuriums” recounts Jessica “As they were my grandmothers’ favourite flowers. She had them growing in her garden and having those small details in our decor meant so much to me.” As the night drew to a close, the newlyweds danced beneath the starlit canopy, swaying to the melody of ‘Kahit Kailan’ by South Birder. The heartfelt song, an ode to unconditional love, resonated deeply with the couple, adding an extra layer of emotion to a truly unforgettable day. “Everything was perfect.”
