DIY Memento Bouquet Bow
What you need
• Ribbon or fabric
• Material: Everyday Iron-On
• Standard Grip Machine Mat
• Cricut heat press & Cricut Pressing Mat
or Household iron & heat resistant mat
• Weeder
• Cricut Cutting Machine
Step 1
For new crafters, download Cricut Design Space and follow the steps to set up your new machine. Once you’ve opened Design Space, upload your handwritten note as an image. Alternatively, select a font and type in your desired text. Take this opportunity to experiment and match your design to your wedding theme.
Step 2:
When your design is ready, select “Make” and follow the steps. Remember to turn on “Mirror” for iron-on projects. Load the Iron-On material directly into the machine with the Grip Mat and let the machine work its magic.
Step 3:
Once the cut is complete, use a Weeder tool to peel away the unwanted material from the liner, revealing the final design.
Step 4:
Place your design on your chosen material, making sure the clear carrier sheet is facing up. Use the Cricut Heat Press machine or a household iron to transfer the design onto your chosen material. Apply heat with pressure for 30 seconds, flip the material, and press again for a few more seconds. Top tip: If using a household iron, set it to the Cotton/Linen setting with the steam off.
Step 5:
Once the material is cool, peel off the liner to reveal the final design.
Step 6:
Admire your design and tie it around your bouquet to create this sentimental item for your big day!
