Podere Calvaiola

Located in the heart of Tuscany’s countryside, this beautiful farmhouse dates back to 1750 when it was built for 3 families who were in charge of managing the crops of the surrounding land. There are several medieval villages nearby - Volterra, Bolgheri, Castagneto Carducci, Castellina Marittima, Montescudaio, San Gimignano, Siena, and Pisa all of which are worth getting lost in and are part of the cultural heritage of the area. Tuscany is world-renowned for the production of wine and olive oil, and, of course, Podere Calvaiola has authentic cellars where you can visit a tasting event and find your favourite wine. You can have a religious ceremony in the nearby villa of Casaglia in their small and blissful church. The large garden is perfect for a civil wedding, providing you with a beautiful natural backdrop. Inside, you will find an amazing collection of 18th-century Italian furniture with accents of the local artistic touch, not to mention the large beautiful paintings by Alfonso Bonavita. The villa can accommodate 85 people inside and 150 outside. Planning a wedding can be very stressful, but do not worry; Podere Calvaiola will take care of every little detail - from contacting the best wedding professionals in Tuscany to many interesting activities for your special day including cooking classes and picnics. poderecalvaiola.it/en/

L’Andana

Tucked away in the coastal region of Castiglione della Pescaia, L’Andana is a majestic wedding venue in Tuscany awaiting your discovery. Drive down the cypress and pine-lined driveway towards the clay-toned property on the crest of the hill and welcome your guests in typical Tuscan style, filled with warmth, delicious gastronomy and the simple pleasures of the Dolce Vita. L’Andana Resort is a true celebration of the region, imbued with rich Florentine fabrics, earthy tones and timeless architecture by Ettore Mocchetti that is designed to conjure a homely feeling. One of the wedding highlights here is the quaint chapel perched on the grounds, which makes for a beautiful intimate ceremony inside or a larger service in front of its facade as the bride walks through an aisle of olive trees towards the romantic scene. The expert chef brigade from the hotel’s Michelin star Trattoria Enrico Bartolini restaurant will be waiting in the wings to delight your guests with delectable canapes paired with superb wines from the estate. As the party comes to a close, there are a whole host of elegant suites for all including a new private villa called La Scuderia and a soothing ESPA spa to provide the perfect weekend recovery. andana.it

Situated between the Renaissance capital of Florence and the historical treasures of Pisa, Villa Lena is another destination of its own that stimulates the senses and beckons your inner creativity. The terracotta mansion with forest green shutters stands at the heart of the 500-acre estate, where your beautiful evening banquet can take place outside overlooking the water fountain and natural wonders beyond. In the manor house itself, a group of artists live and contribute to Villa Lena’s ever-evolving canvas. The creatives are also always on hand to host exciting workshops for guests, from ceramics and pasta making to yoga classes and more. Brides and grooms even have the rare opportunity to create their own wedding floral arrangements at the on-site flower farm and toast their marriage with estate-produced wine labels. Villa Lena’s sustainable ethos is embedded into every aspect of their philosophy from the food and drink to the artists-in-residence programme. You can count on the flexibility of their team to ensure your wedding day is thoughtful, personalised and completely unique to you. villa-lena.it
