Inside the Kardashian-Barker Wedding
After weeks of circulating rumours, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker finally tied the knot at an intimate ceremony in Santa Barbara, California.
Loved-up sweethearts Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker officially got hitched on Sunday 15th May at a downtown courthouse in Santa Barbara, California. Read on for the lowdown on the lover's wedding and their story so far...
Only weeks after their unoffical, unlicensed but totally adorable Las Vegas nuptials, the celebrity pair finally legally tied the knot together at an intimate courthouse affair. In classic Kourtney-style, the wedding was an understated and lowkey affair, with an injection of rocker styling from her beau Travis Barker, drummer for band Blink-182. They both shared black-and-white snaps from their day surrounding the vintage black convertible they posed in with the caption: "Till death do us part".
They followed in their fairytale love story by adorning the car with a "Just Married" sign and tin cans trailing behind, what a pair of classic sweethearts! Kourtney, 42, and Travis, 46, got engaged in October 2021 at a romantic beach proposal and then celebrated with their friends and family and all the Kardashian-Jenner clan. However, their courthouse wedding had limited guests, with no sight of any of Kourtney's sisters or either of the pair's children from previous relationships.
The family didn't hesitate to get involved on social media though, with Kim Kardashian commenting "KRAVIS FOREVER" on Kourtney's post, combining the newlywed's names for their now popular ship name. Kourtney's mum, Kris Jenner, commented "I love you 😍" and the youngest Kardashian sister, Khloé, put three red heart emojis "❤️❤️❤️" to celebrate their marriage.
Kourtney accessorised her day with a plunge neckline, ivory bodycon minidress, adorned with a red heart motif, thought to be designed by Dolce & Gabbana. She wore a simple veil to cover her black tresses of hair, with some perfectly-placed strands effectively framing her face. She went for a relatively neutral glam look for a soft bridal glow. In true 2022 bridal fashion, Kourtney wore fingerless, ruched, sheer opera gloves, looking to immediately show off her wedding rings on exiting the courthouse. Travis looked dapper in a black tuxedo, matching the sleek styling of the snaps in the vintage convertible.
The couple shared a snap of their witnesses in their Instagram carousel of wedding snaps. In attendance was Kourtney's maternal grandmother Mary Jo "MJ" Campbell, 87, and Travis' father, Randy. The group then celebrated at a restaurant in Montecito, with Travis being ever the gentleman by helping MJ walk safely to the venue.
Following their 2022 Met Gala looks in which Kourtney matched with her lover in a deconstructed look of Travis' suit, the couple coordinated on the day by wearing matching shoes. Kourtney wore a pair of burgundy velvet pumps while Travis donned some trendy men's Rockabilly shoes in the same shade. These two seem made for eachother.
In classic Kravis style, the pair were all over eachother for their wedding photoshoot, making it even more intimate with the reduced guestlist. Sources are pointing towards a big upcoming Italian celebration for the couple later this year so this courthouse affair could just be the entrée to another huge event with the world's most famous family. Welcome to the family Travis!
