This 5-star gem in classy South Kensington is the cream of the crop when it comes to quintessentially British stays in London. Boasting a stucco 19th-century townhouse exterior with majestic white stone pillars and a grand Union Jack flag, we knew from first impressions that we were in for a delightful treat. The hotel celebrates the capital city, with each room not having a number but rather a name dedicated to something classically London, placing the guest in an immersive experience at the centre of the action.

The Adria has all the contemporary touches needed to make a London getaway extra special. Their 22 elegant suites and rooms are styled beautifully, with luxurious furnishings and artistic touches to make each space unique. From the four poster bed to the Italian marble bathroom, the Victoria Suite certainly impressed during our stay. With separate living areas encompassing a living, dining and sleeping zone, guests can indulge in the joys of every corner of this opulent suite. A fancy tub and walk-in waterfall shower grace the bathroom and the living area even hosts a fireplace, making this hotel feel cosy with home comforts. The suites and rooms are beyond generous, with the opportunity to join rooms to host all of your wedding party in one space as you prepare for the big day together with dresses, makeup and bubbles.

This hotel goes beyond just rooms, with a sauna, gym, spa and massage bed all on offer to guests and those that need to de-stress from the wedmin worries. The Parlour and Lounge are ideal for hosting private gatherings over your wedding weekend, plus the dining areas are great for catching up with loved ones post tying the knot with a breakfast or Afternoon Tea. The Adria is suited for couples searching for a city location that oozes class and style.
