We wanted our wedding to feel magical, elegant and modern, with an atmosphere that was pure and luminous. We chose an all-white palette with gold accents, creating a setting that was both timeless and contemporary. Roses and gypsophila took centre stage, their delicate beauty echoed throughout the space. The imperial tables were mirrored, adorned with countless crystal candles of varying heights and vases of every size, each holding a single rose. Above us, the ceiling shimmered with a starry sky of fairy lights and fresh roses, while mirrored floors reflected the blooms and soft candlelight, creating an infinite garden of light.

The story of my wedding dress is one I will cherish forever. In truth, I did not choose it, the dress chose me! I had long admired the work of designer Alessandro Angelozzi and was honoured to meet him in person at my first appointment. I had been looking through his catalogue when he quietly left the room, returning moments later with a gown that took my breath away. It was unlike anything I had ever imagined, magnificent, ethereal, a true masterpiece of couture craftsmanship. The dress was a new design, fresh from the mannequin, not yet released on the runway.
Crafted entirely from French lace, it combined three distinct styles: a mermaid silhouette with a sheer bodice and elegant train, a full overskirt that transformed the look for the ceremony, and a Grace Kelly-inspired blouse with front buttons to cover the décolletage in church. For the evening, I added lace sleeves and a delicate choker for the cake cutting, revealing the mermaid silhouette once more.
Our show cake was a five-tier creation, each layer elegantly larger than the one above, decorated with fresh white roses and sugar-paste blooms embellished with pearls. A separate tasting cake ensured every guest could enjoy the flavours we loved most.

Music played an essential role in creating the mood of the day. In the church, a soprano, an organist and a violinist performed, their music filling the space with grace and emotion. At the reception, guests were serenaded by a pianist, singer, saxophonist and violinist, before the energy lifted into the night with a live DJ. We had fallen in love with the combination of violin and saxophone after seeing them perform together and knew we wanted that same magic at our celebration. For our first dance, we took lessons and rehearsed to the romantic ballad Piccola Stella, a Viennese waltz that felt both classic and personal.
Everything was perfect, thanks to Cristina Orsatti. We would choose her again in a heartbeat.
